Currently we are in the middle (or start, who knows...) of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. It's a really strange situation for all of us right now.
Today we crossed the mark of 2 million infected people worldwide (at least the tested ones, the real number is much higher I guess).
In this post I will gather all that weird stuff that is happening right now because people tend to forget those things very fast and keeping this as a record is might be interesting when all this is over.
I recently started taking pictures from the measures our supermarkets took in order to prevent the spread of the virus. And of course the obligatory picture of the empty shelf with toilet paper 🤦♂️.
The amount of people who are allowed to visit the supermarket is now limited which leads to queues outside during rush hours. And if you make it into the shop your hands get disinfected. In some you are also forced to use a shopping cart as "distance keeper".
Other weird things
- Kitas and schools are closed. Since my girlfriend has to go to work I have to take care of my son while doing home office. Not fun at all.
- Buses in Berlin don't open the first door anymore to protect the driver. It's also not possible anymore to buy tickets inside.
- People start wearing masks
- Now we all have to start wearing masks
